CEDAR PLANKED SALMON

untreated cedar planks

fillets of salmon

½ cup olive oil

1 large red onion, chopped

1 lemon, sliced

black pepper

Submerge cedar planks in water. Soak 12 hours or overnight.

Rub salmon fillets with olive oil.

Arrange fillets on the planks.

Top with red onion, lemon slices and black pepper.

Place cedar planks on the BBQ grill and cover.

Cook salmon for about 15 minutes or until opaque and easily flaked with a fork.
