2.25kg light malt extract

2.25kg dark malt extract

0.5kg crystal malt (crushed)

0.05kg chocolate malt (crushed)

50g Fuggles hop pellets

25g Willamette hop pellets

1 pack Wyeast Scottish Ale

Steep the crushed malt grains for 15 minutes. Add to boiling wort.

Bittering hops: all of Fuggles, at the beginning of boil

Tasting hops: half of Willamette, 30 minutes into boil.

Aromatic hops: half of Willamettel, 50 minutes into the boil.

Start date: Mar. 26, 2005

Original gravity (OG): 1.070

1st siphon: Apr. 3, 2005

Bottling date: Apr. 17, 2005

Final gravity (FG): 1.014

Percentage ABV: (OG-FG)/7.46 * 1000: 7.5%
